Tongo Fitness
Hi, I'm Hannah.
I'm a certified personal trainer based in San Mateo County, and I bring the gym to you. I work with you in your own space, making training convenient, comfortable, and easy to stay consistent with.
Being Filipino is a big part of who I am, and it's shaped how I connect with people. I really value building genuine relationships with my clients and creating an environment where you feel supported every step of the way.
Fitness isn't just about workouts — it's about building confidence, creating habits that stick, and feeling stronger in your everyday life.
No two clients are the same, so everything I do is tailored to you. My goal is to make fitness something you actually enjoy and can stick with — not just something you feel like you have to do.
Tongo Fitness — Fitness on the go.
"I want you to leave your hesitation at the door and feel genuinely excited about starting your fitness journey."

Why I do this.
In 2024, I ran a Spartan Race. I struggled to keep up and ran out of steam way faster than I expected. When I saw the photos from that day, I wasn't happy with how I looked — and that was the moment I knew something had to change.
I started lifting three times a week and playing pickleball, which eventually turned into tennis. I found my own joy in being active, and that made all the difference. Within a year, I lost 30 pounds — but honestly, the number on the scale was never really the point.
What changed me wasn't one big breakthrough. It was consistency. Showing up, even on the days I didn't feel like it.
Over time, my mindset shifted. Exercise stopped feeling like something I had to do, and became something that was just part of my life. Movement isn't a quick fix — it's a lifestyle.
I started noticing the small wins: not getting out of breath as easily, feeling stronger, having more energy, and becoming more confident in my own body. Those changes kept me going.
Real change doesn't come from a diet or a phase of exercising — it comes from investing in yourself.
I know what it feels like to be at the starting line — unsure, discouraged, and not knowing where to begin. That's why I became a personal trainer. I'm here to support you, keep you accountable, and help you build a version of yourself you're proud of.

Surgery Prep & Recovery Support
Preparing for surgery — or recovering from one — often comes with a list of exercises from your physical therapist and no one there to help you actually do them. That's where I come in.
In these focused 30-minute sessions, I'll guide you through your PT-prescribed exercises, watch your form, keep you consistent, and cheer you on. Going into surgery stronger and staying on track afterward can make a real difference in how you recover.
I work alongside your physical therapist's plan — think of me as your accountability partner between appointments.
Real Results.
July 2024: 304 lbs
September 2025: 254 lbs
March 2026: 232 lbs
August 2026: 223 lbs
81 lbs lost — and he's not done yet. This is what investing in yourself looks like.
What People Are Saying
“I would absolutely recommend Hannah to a friend! I had been doing some workout videos online, and thought they were good, but they really don't compare to having a teacher. Also, there are times when I would have opted out of doing a video, but when I have an appointment and the trainer is coming to me, it keeps me committed. For years, I had been working on losing fat and gaining muscle. Then, after suddenly needing to do some physically difficult caregiving, I realized I wanted to get as strong as possible. I started looking for a personal trainer and found Hannah. I am very happy to work with her. She's very organized, and it's amazing that she brings the equipment. When we're training, she's very helpful and supportive, teaches well, demonstrates, listens to any of my questions, and keeps it fun! Since I started working with Hannah, I started noticing more muscle definition. And weights that were very demanding are now easier for me.”
“Hannah is an excellent trainer! She caters my training program to my specific goals and needs, and keeps them updated to match my progress and change up the exercises. She teaches and corrects my form with different exercises, making sure all the motions are done safely and efficiently. She also keeps me accountable and motivated to keep up with my exercises. Highly recommended!”
“Last year, I was at the heaviest weight of my life and knew I needed to make a real change. I'd gone through phases of exercise and dieting before, but could never stay consistent. Hannah helped me understand the importance of proper nutrition and designed an exercise program that works around my knee injury while still pushing me toward my goals. She kept me accountable — especially during the moments I wanted to quit. Her kind, patient approach made me feel safe and empowered to improve on my own terms. I've now lost over 20 lbs and feel the best I have in years. If you're looking for a trainer who will truly meet you where you are, Hannah is one of the best.”
“We started training with Hannah because we were struggling to consistently make time for exercise and wanted to improve our overall strength and fitness. Like a lot of people, we had the intention—but not the structure or accountability—to stick with it. Since we began, the biggest difference has been consistency and real, noticeable progress. We feel stronger, have more energy, and actually look forward to our workouts. She keeps us accountable in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming, and always knows how to push us just the right amount. We would absolutely recommend Tongo Fitness to anyone looking to build sustainable habits and see real results. It’s not just about the workouts—it’s the guidance, motivation, and accountability that truly make the difference!”
“When I started training with Hannah, I wanted to incorporate weight lifting into my routine, but I was completely new to the gym and hoping to learn how to use the equipment properly. Before working with her, I would walk in and immediately feel intimidated and overwhelmed by all the machines — I didn't know where to begin. Since we began training together, the gym doesn't feel intimidating anymore. I feel confident going in and using the equipment on my own. I would 100% recommend Tongo Fitness to a friend! I've learned so much, gained real confidence in working out, and Hannah motivated me to push harder. Training with her has even helped me improve in my Pilates practice.”
“I've been working with Hannah for around 5 weeks now and have already noticed significant improvement in both my performance and stability. As a student athlete in high school, I faced many injuries and weakness in my joints. Over the summer, Hannah has helped me strengthen and prepare for the upcoming season. I no longer feel a need to use tape or other supports when participating in my sport. She has also introduced me to a variety of exercises, allowing me to feel more familiar with a gym/weightlifting setting. My experience with Hannah is very positive and I would highly recommend her to those wanting to start their fitness journey.”
“I've had an amazing experience working with Hannah. She is knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely invested in helping me reach my fitness goals. Every workout is challenging but tailored to my abilities, and she makes sure my form is correct. What I appreciate most is her encouragement and contagious positive attitude. Every session has been enjoyable. I've become stronger, more confident, and more motivated. If you're looking for a personal trainer who makes working out fun and knows how to get results, I highly recommend Hannah!”
